Novokuznetsk
Novokuznetsk is the second in population and also the oldest city in the Kemerovo Region. During the Great Patriotic War, every fourth Soviet shell and every second tank were made from the metal smelted in Kuzbass. Half of all Soviet combat aircrafts were made of Kuznetsk aluminum.
