Omsk
Omsk is one of the largest cities in Russia, the administrative center of the Omsk region. During the Great Patriotic War, a powerful military-industrial center of Union significance was formed in Omsk. The enterprises evacuated to Omsk assembled 7,000 famous T-34 tanks, 3,800 aircraft, produced more than 15,000 engines for frontline aviation, more than 8,000 radio stations, and hundreds of thousands of shells. For their contribution to the cause of Victory over the enemy, seven enterprises of the Omsk region were awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, and two - the Order of Lenin. The Omsk Tank Plant and the “Rossiyskiy” state farm were awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree.
