Permian
Perm is the administrative center of the Perm Territory. During the Great Patriotic War, about 100 thousand Perm people worked in the rear. The city produced and sent to the front more than 13 million mortar shells, about 3 million rocket charges for “Katyusha”, more than 10 million pairs of boots and helmets, 650 thousand telephones. Every third artillery round was equipped with a Perm fuse. All combat aircraft built during the war were supplied with Permian fuel equipment. Two thirds of all rocket charges manufactured during the war by the country's gunpowder industry were produced in Perm. In total, during the Great Patriotic War, 9 Perm enterprises were awarded 11 orders. 6 enterprises received Red Banners for eternal storage.
