Commercial seaport Primorsk is the largest Russian oil port in the Baltic. The construction of the Primorsky oil port was started in 2000, the first stage with two berths was put into operation in December 2001. The second and third stages were put into operation in 2004 and 2006. It is the end point of the Baltic Pipeline System. The total capacity of tanks for the oil storing is 921 thousand tons, for storage of light oil products - 240 thousand tons.
