Cosmodrome "Vostochny" - a Russian cosmodrome in the Far East in the Amur region, near Tsiolkovsky town. The cosmodrome was built with the aim of providing independent access to space, guaranteed implementation of international and commercial space programs, reducing costs for the Baikonur cosmodrome and improving the socio-economic situation in the Amur Region. The first successful start with the launch of three artificial earth satellites into orbit took place on April 28, 2016.
