Amur-Yakutsk railway (AYAM) is the railway in the east of Russia, connecting the Trans-Siberian Railway (Transsib) and the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) with Yakutia.
The central section of the highway from Neryungri to Tommot was built by 2004. The northern section, built by 2011 to Nizhny Bestyakh (near Yakutsk), connects the central regions of the republic with the Russian railway network. On July 26, 2019, the Tommot - Nizhniy Bestyakh section was opened for the permanent operation, and thus the entire road was opened for freight and passenger traffic. The large logistics complex was built at the Nizhny Bestyakh station for transshipment of goods to the Yakutsk-Pravoberezhny river port.
