Kamensk-Uralsky
Kamensk-Uralsky is the city in Sverdlovsk region of Russia. In 1942, in connection with the forced evacuation of the Kolchuginsky plant, as well as the Moscow rolling and Rostov foil rolling plants, non-ferrous metal processing plant began operating in Kamensk-Uralsky. Another enterprise, evacuated from Balashikha in 1942 and already producing products in March 1942, was the Kamensk-Uralsky Foundry. The Ural Aluminum plant, also located in Kamensk-Uralsky, was the only aluminum plant in the country providing metal to the USSR aviation.
