Having overcome after-effects of the “shock therapy”, oligarchic privatization and hard blow of the default in 1998 accompanied by deterioration of the living standards, a demographic crisis, increase of corruption and criminality the Russian Federation got over a full-scale crisis in the beginning of the XXI century and defined its focus on the establishment of powerful and advanced economy. The main priorities of the governmental economic policy of Russia on the mid-term horizon are the following: innovative development, diversification and support of high-technology sectors of economy, social development and investments in human capital assets.
Implementation of the new projects is based on the experience of concentration of the governmental efforts on the national priority projects of the mid first decade of the ХХI century established by the fundamental Presidential Decrees of 2012 and aimed to solve the most pressing issues related to creation of comfortable conditions for everyday life of the people: healthcare and education development, enhancement of their quality and availability, housing and utilities infrastructure and urban environment, arrangement of safe and advanced high-quality road networks, improvement of the situation in single-industry cities.
