In 1942, the film "Mittens" was released in Leningrad ("The Bravest," script by S. Z. Polotsky and M. G. Tevelev, directed by N. A. Lyubshits and P. N. Armand) is the only feature film created in Leningrad during the blockade. The next film of the Marine Battalion film studio (written by A. P. Stein, directed by A. I. Minkin and A. M. Feinzimmer) was shot in 1944, after the blockade was lifted.
