They speak the Adjarian dialect of the Georgian
language.
Food
The Adjarian cuisine is in many ways similar to the
Georgian one but still has several distinctive features. The Adjarians prefer
to use poultry meat to cook their dishes and do not use pork. The Adjarians
like dishes made from sturgeon very much. As the first course, kharcho
and chikhirtma soups are usually served; also, Adjarians do not use
dishes made from grits and curd. As a dessert, black coffee or tea is usually
served in Adjaria, as well as fruit.
