Positive dynamics was maintained in agricultural production due to considerable governmental support. The grain yield was good in 2015 (104.8 mln. tons). More wheat, sugar beet and buckwheat were successfully harvested. A record crop of vegetables, corn, soy and linseed flax was gathered. The output of meat animal stock and poultry for slaughter increased by 4.4% due to growth in pig farming (3.8%) and poultry breeding (7.7%). The production of milk in agricultural organizations increased by 2.4% and in peasant farm holdings – by 6.1%. Positive dynamics was maintained in the food and processing sectors — growth by 2%.
The export of grain reached 30 mln. tons in 2015 that is almost 3% higher than in the previous year. The export of meat and meat products increased by more than 8% as compared with 2014.
